Was born at Kings and family home as a child until joined the Army was on Champion Hill between Denmark Hill and Dog Kennel Hill.

Fucking bollocks mate. He could shut the pubs, furlough the staff and pay them 80% and it would cost him FUCK ALL.

Just for reference, he is worth £569,000,000. He could pay them if he wanted, the bloke is a cunt and taking advantage

Branson sued the NHS and Ashley is a fat cunt.

I'd like to see a general boycott of all of these establishments after this until the fuckers go under. Greed, pure and simple.

He would have made a fortune with the amount of kegs sitting in Warehouses around the country

Re: Tim Martin - Wetherspoons
40 hours x£8.72 x 43,000 = £15,000,000 so if he carried on paying them £15m a week for a couple of months. Add in the rents and all the other costs they’d be bankrupt in a few weeks. Who would that help.Ok they are supposed to be getting help from the govt at some stage but who knows when and how much they’ll end up getting

eusabiovic, yes know the Fox well. Used to get a pint there after work. I had an office just of Coldhabour Lane and used sometimes to walk up to the Fox through Ruskin Park. This was before the Larrikin owned it.

I bumped into an old acquaintance recently.

I asked what he was up to.

"Oh, I cook food for the unemployed, down and outs, alchoholics and the less fortunate members of society".

"So you work in a drop in centre then?"

"No, I'm a chief in a Wetherspoons' Pub."

I don't go to spoons by choice.
The only one I went to in any regular was the nearest pub to an office I worked in West Croydon. We used to go fo cheap lunch on Fridays. As far as I could tell their regular clientelle was a collection of the local alchies and the odd office bod like us.
Christ it was depressing.

Brian Moore is excellent. Wonder what his lauguage was like when he was a barrister.

This is turning into a rare moment of amusement.

After Brian Moore took to Twitter to demand Tim Martin/Wetherspoons pay his brewery and other suppliers, one fan asked if he was on a windup. "No," Moore replied, "He really is just a cunt."

Hahah.
